On Monday, November 12, HerrmannLAW sponsored the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) Maryland Chapter’s 2018 symposium at the College Park Marriott Hotel & Conference Center in Hyattsville, Maryland.
The symposium is held annually to bring AAML members together for a day of discussions, networking and collaboration. This year’s symposium covered vital contemporary topics in family law, specifically regarding implicit bias in the justice system and how it can affect family law clients and attorneys. Speakers included US Court of Appeals judge the Honorable Bernice B. Donald and faculty from some of the leading law universities in the country.
