On Friday, November 30, HerrmannLaw sponsored the Maryland Employment Lawyers Association’s (MELA) 14th annual Conference at the Crowne Plaza in Greenbelt, Maryland.
MELA’s annual conferences provide MELA members with the opportunity to network and discuss relevant issues in employment law. This year’s conference focused on forced arbitration and class/collective actions after epic systems, sexual harassment law in the “Me Too” era and best practices for settlement and severance agreements. Guest speakers included some of Maryland’s most prominent employment litigators and numerous County, State, and Federal District Court judges.
As the Maryland affiliate of the National Employment Lawyers Association, MELA is committed to bringing together Maryland’s employment lawyers for education, support and fellowship. MELA serves Maryland’s top legal professionals through seminars, social events and top-notch continuing legal education programs with the objective of making Maryland a better place for both employees and employment lawyers.
HerrmannLaw’s sponsorship of the conference serves as part of its commitment to improving Maryland’s legal system for client and attorney alike. Through partnership with HerrmannLaw, firms can both grow their businesses and improve the quality of their services.
